Timothy Snyder, Vice-President of Operations
Tim Snyder is from Bath, Pennsylvania, and has been married to his wife, Carol, for 35 years. They have two children, Ryan-28, who died in 2018, and Noelle, 31, who is married with two daughters, Auriella and Camilla.
Tim's background in the medical field began in 1985 as a Paramedic, where he worked for 15 years in the City of Allentown as a Paramedic Crew Chief. Tim was also a Flight Paramedic with Lehigh Valley Hospital MedEvac for 5 years before transitioning into the Donation and Transplant Community.
In 2000 Tim joined The Gift of Life Donor Program in Philadelphia and spent 22 years, rising through the ranks as a Transplant Coordinator, Transplant Coordinator Specialist, Sr. Transplant Coordinator, Advanced Practice Coordinator, and Administrator on Call. Tim's experience throughout his 22 years led to presenting locally, regionally, and nationally on donation-related topics.
Tim was a member of the NATCO Board of Directors (North American Transplant Coordinators Organization), serving as a Counselor at Large, Treasurer, President-Elect, and President. He also served as a Transplant Coordinator Representative on the UNOS Board of Directors.
Tim is a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) and holds an FCCS Certification from the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Tim departed Gift of Life in September of 2021 to join NORA as the VP of Operations. His role is to assist in developing new clients, and hire and train staff that supports the OPO Community and Transplant Centers around the country.
