(312) 361-3785

Scott Demczyszyn, Chief Client Services Officer

Scott has served in leadership roles in the OPO industry for over 21 years. He brings his experience, commitment and knowledge of the OPO industry to NORA as the Chief Client Services Officer. Scott’s role is to support NORA’s strategic plans for national growth and expansion of services throughout the country while ensuring a focus on high quality and core values that are aligned with the OPOs, transplant centers, and labs that we support daily.

Scott has served NORA in his current role for the past year and, for the prior 21 years, served in multiple roles at the Gift of Life Donor Program. Most recently, he served as the Director of the Clinical Procurement team and as an AOC for 15 years. He previously served on the UNOS Transplant Coordinator committee and the AOPO Standards & Accreditation committee as a Site Surveyor (Past Chair) and surveyed over 24 different OPOs across the nation.

Over the years, he was active nationally with NATCO, UNOS, and AOPO and participated in CMS and UNOS audits. He presented at NATCO meetings, including top case studies, at the National collaboratives, and learning congress on many different topics. He occasionally lectured as guest faculty with the Gift of Life Institute and presented internationally at the TPM European Transplant Coordinator Conference in Prague, Czech Republic.

Scott’s industry experience working with OPOs and Transplant Centers across the country and knowledge of OPO practice and UNOS’s changing policies, along with his work ethic and commitment to donation and transplantation, makes him a great fit in guiding NORA’s continuing expansion across all regions of the country. We are honored to have him as a part of the NORA team.
